To get your license in Oklahoma, you need to meet the following requirements:

  • Completion of 150 hours with at least 76 of those at the upper-division level or higher
  • Graduation from an accredited institution with an accounting major or its equivalent
  • Completion of 48 hours in the accounting field or its related counterparts with at least 30 hours in accounting classes that extend beyond principles. One class must be in auditing and nine hours in statistics, economics, finance, business law, marketing, business management, risk management, business communications, computer science, insurance or management information systems.
